1/2 c quick cook oats
1 c water
mix-ins of your choice (ideas: jam, maple syrup, brown sugar, honey {for kids that are old enough to have honey}, or fruit)
Mix oats and water and microwave for 1&1/2 to 2 minutes. Mix in your choice of extra ingredients. Make sure it isn’t too hot when serving it. Oatmeal provides lots of vitamins and minerals, such as A, B’s, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. Plus, it also a good source of fiber.
